Hey guys,

My fog light got smashed on the way from the mountains last night and now i am looking for replacement housing. I know when this happened to my friends 2006 M35, after doing some research we found out that Nissan Altima fog lights are the same thing.

So that leads me to my question, what other car would have the same fog light housing as 2012 M56 or M37? I did some research but cant find anything. Any information will be helpful.

Haven't heard of that being done on the Y51, you'll likely need to scour the internet and compare part numbers.

That being said, on the Y50, I believe it was Sentra not Altima lights that worked. Might be worth comparing OEM part numbers there.

Same year Nissan Quest uses the Infiniti part number.

You won't find it much cheaper being advertised for Nissan model as opposed to Infiniti. You're better off buying an aftermarket compatible part for a third of the cost of oem.

I'll sell you one of my OEM foglights from my 2012 M. Not like I'll ever use it again after switching to LED :)

If interested I have a set of the Morimoto LED fogs I could part with. I'm too lazy to install them. These are the complete housing fogs.

Do yours aim properly? Or did they suffer from the issue I had with 3 different sets which caused me to abandon the idea of running them (the aim screw just clicks and doesn't actually adjust the bowl inside)?

If so, depending on the price and how my finances pre-wedding look in a few weeks, I may be interested lol.

I'll have to check and get back to you. I never even took the time to see if they had that issue you mentioned.

I had mine go out. perhaps a rock hit the glass but the bulb was still good. Anyhow I replaced the whole housing. The dealer wants about 200 for it. I whined and said I can get it cheaper online. The parts guy says well I can knock 15% off. i said i can still get it cheaper.

Ebay will be your friend on this one.. and this fits either side.

After doing a lot of research I have came across these LED fog lights. If anyone is interested, here it is. It also has part number and what vehicles share these fog lights. Gonna have to try these bad boys out.

^^ a few of us have tried those lamps. There should be a few posts around, including my review. I went through 3 sets and none of them would aim, so I returned them.

I had the same problem with the broken fog light on my 2011 M33. The Valeo 43403 is what Nissan will sell you. I got it on Amazon, but it looks like they're out of stock at the moment. There is one on ebay.

I replaced it from underneath. I had to remove the wheel arch liner. It's held in by one bolt and the chrome bezel. the bezel has tabs(3 I think) on the inside that must be depressed to pull the bezel off from the front of the bumper. It's a pain in the a$$ but can be done.
