Just checking the 2012 Frontier service manual on this site and determined that there are 17 sections missing. Has anyone noticed this before? I determined that the following sections are missing - EM, EC, STR, TM, DLN, BRC, SRC, HAC, DLK, SEC, PWC, BRM, EXL, LAN, PG, MWI AND AV. I checked what I found on the site against the FWD.pdf, which showed a list of sections that should be there. On the 2013 Frontier service manual, all 54 sections are present. On the 2012 only 37 of the 54 sections are showing up. I currently use the service manual for my 2009 Infiniti G37 sport sedan and find it useful when performing service or repairs. I have used other manuals for other Nissan/Infiniti vehicles I have had over the years, and will be needing the missing 2012 Frontier sections when performing repairs, service, etc.

Question for the administrators - Do you have any intentions of adding the missing sections in the future?

Thank you,

Ken Smith...

Hi Ken,

Thanks for letting us know. I'll pass this along to the powers that be to see if we can track the missing info down.

Thank you very much, I certainly appreciate the help. I have always used factory shop manuals, most of which I purchased outright or made the dealer throw them in whenever I purchased a vehicle. I have been a Nissan person since my 1980 Datsun King Cab. Had it, then two Hardbodies, an Infiniti I30T (automatic), a 350Z and now own the Frontier and my Infiniti G37 sport sedan (both of which are manuals). I have only owned two automatic transmission vehicles in my lifetime (currently 67 years old). I think that keeps me more alert. You use all four quadrants of your body and your brain when driving a manual transmission, thus no texting, etc...

Any progress on adding the AV section to the 2012 Frontier section? Working on adding rear view camera and need the pinouts for the non Rockford 6cd changer head unit. Thank you!
