I am in a wreck... I cant figure out how to fix this gap!!!

I see that there's slightly more gap in the center than on the sides but really there is this much gap on the oem too. I mean look at the gap between the bumper and the hood, it's the same.

could it be the lack of the support bar? i mean f*** i can fit my entire hand in that gap! and i dont have girly hands either... my buddy whos like 300 lbs can fit half his hand in there

Yes it definitely could be the lack of support bar, did you cut it out? Do we even have one on our year?

didnt cut it out, i removed it... ill go delearship tomorrow cuz im missing some parts...

oh okay, can it just be painted black and put back in? Maybe that could lift up the center a bit?

Pop your hood and locate these two knobs - one on each side.

Turn the knobs clockwise until they can't go any further. As a point of reference, mine are turned as far as they will go. This should lower your hood a bit.

Let us know if that fixes it.

That was the first thing i did.... Putting hte support bar thing back on Wednesday... and i PRAY it fixes it.. if not then im f*** : /

Not sure if it will work for the cmod buts its worth a shot

One of the first threads I opened after joining 2 yrs back involved the C-Mod aftermarket grills, as I was considering alternative to OEM.

From day one, it seemed the majority of complaints concerned the sloppy engineering as regarding the the fitment. C-Mod has apparently done little to nothing to address the issue. I can only hope their sales declines reflect this oversight.
