2012 Altima Ac not working
Hi all. I have a 2012 altima and for some reason my car has stopped blowing cold air. It blows. But only 'regular' air and heat. I got it checked out and was told that my compressor is not engaging BUT the compressor is not the problem. Its good. Refrigerant is good as well. The electrical company that i took it to says that it's a bad ac/ac-compressor relay. I was also told that this relay was located on the BACK of the fuse box which is the fuse box located INSIDE the car. I have searched high and low looking for ANYTHING to show the removal/replacement of the fuse box. Looks to me like i will have to have the whole dash removed to get to it. One video i saw said take one screw out thats by the fuse box and the bottom cover should pop out. Tried it that didnt work. So my question is do i have to remove the whole dash in order to get to and check the ac relay located BEHIND the fuse box that's on the INSIDE of the car?

Hi. I am wondering how you made out with this. I have an 09 and suspect it is an electrical problem as well because I am not getting power to the harness at the compressor. The link in that other reply talks about a 2013 so it may be different with ours since the 2013 is the next generation. I am not sure if the relay is behind the fuse block (I can see relays behind there) or if it is in the IPDM inside the engine compartment.
