Anyone know if the 2010 altima 3.5 coupe headers are the same as the 2012 ones?

Welcome to NICO!

Yes they are the same. To my knowledge, no aftermarket or performance headers exist (Stillen tried to R&D some, but it turned out to be enormously expensive for very little performance return.)

There is a lot of information here at NICO. Stick around, read up, and ask questions! If nothing else, random debauchery also occurs and provides great entertainment.

There's these... I just joined and am looking for some information on exhaust set-ups for my brother's 3.5L coupe.

Anybody heard of these guys? Good/bad, looking at their exhaust and header set-up...

Just know what you're getting into with the headers on a 3.5 - the motor has to be pulled to get to the rear bank. It's cozy up against the firewall. You may be able to pull the subframe to get to it too, but it's a lot of work for not a lot of performance return - the biggest choke point in the 3.5 exhaust is the y-pipe and catback.

**EDIT: Those headers you linked do NOT fit the coupe. They're for the 02-06 sedan. No, it's not the same even though they're both 3.5s. They may bolt up but you're not dealing with the same body/structural clearance areas.

That said, TopSpeed has been doing a lot of stuff for the 370Z lately, and at first it was a bunch of knockoff caliber stuff until they started playing with titanium, which has bumped them up a bit, although titanium is $$$.

Some guys have been happy with their exhausts, other guys prefer different stuff. Just depends I guess.

Sorry for not getting back earlier but I have found OBX headers for the Altima coupe if your saying our headers are the same. I am still weary about them since i wouldn't want to purchase them and noticing they don't fit.

The look of the Y-Pipe looks like it was fabbed for the 07-12 car due to the dip in it. maybe this does fit.

Anyone have any word on that?

Looking at OBX header for my '10 SR Sedan. Anybody pulled the trigger on them? I hear some folks say OBX does not make good fitting parts and some struggle to bolt them up. Thoughts?
