2012 A/C HID Issue

Hi guys.


I got 6K 35W hid last week but it was much darker than Stock halogen bulbs even I

couldn't see the lane.

So i change to 5K and it was better than 6K but still darker than Stock bulbs.

If I get 55w balast, Will this really melt my projector?

How do I make my headlight brighter?

Should I change to 4300k?

I need some advices.

Can't completely say that 55w will melt the projectors (no expert or anything) but they would get really hot. I find it odd that your 35w 6k hids are darker than your stockies. I have 35w 6k hids from DDM tunning and I can see everything clear as day. They only thing I would say is that the hids that you got aren't very good then if its that dark.

As far as going from 6k, to 5k, to 4300k that will just make the light more white than blue. 6k being the bluest. Hope this helps just my 2cents from what I've learned.

show a decent night time picture so we can better tell you if ours are brighter on 35w

That's very strange, unless your car came with Xenon headlights. Mine came with halogen and I dropped in a 4300K kit and it was a night and day difference. Here are some pics that'll show the difference.

here is my issue!!! xcept i have the stock xeon.. what shrould I order thats bright for night driving but not blinding for everyone else . I hate drivingf at night and with xeons i should nmot have this issue
