2011 Sentra left front knocking noise

Greetings to all. This is my first time here so i hope that someone may be able to help me. I have a B16 2011 Nissan Sentra S model. It has shown a knocking sound coming from my left front. It would make that knocking sound whenever I´m turn on the engine (while the engine´s "shaking" on start). During the engine start, besides hear the noise I can feel a slight impact on the steering wheel and the pedals, inclusive. This noise is also present when I'm driving and is audible (to a lesser degree) even in perfect roads. My mechanic said it was the left transmission´s support. The component was changed but the noise remains. All front suspension components are ok, since been revised and the struts were changed recently.

Problem Solved! The Rear Torque Assy Rod (part number 11360-ET00A) was the culprit. It was replaced and so far so good

JW have you ever had any clunky or grinding noise inside the cabin near ur center dash under the shift lever? My 2011 SL sentra recently started this sound.

Hummmm ... Possbliy is the shift lever mechanism (or solenoid park) requiring lubrication and some adjustment. Fortunately I never had this kind of problem.
