Hi All! first time poster. I'm now a victim of the EVIL Cruise control set light flashing on my rogue. After the car sits overnight all is good with the cruise for the first couple of miles then the dreaded flash occurs. I've replaced both brake pedal switches plus installed a new battery. I bought a OBDII/CAN code reader only to find no codes in the module.
The coolant temp is normal. I've checked the fuses and all is good. I had the car serviced about a year ago by a local Nissan import service. CVT fluid changed,Coolant flushed,New plugs.
This curse just started about a week ago. When I could set the cruise it would disengage about every 5 miles.
Now all the cruise will do is flash and sometimes I can't get it to turn on at all. Any help appreciated!!

Did you check the cruise control module? That could be the issue.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn’t know this existed.

My rogue is 2 yrs older, so I’m planning to only use cruise control only when I really need it now.

I have a habit to use in the city or neighborhoods where I want to maintain low speed. 25mph or so.

Never really thought of it failing.

Reason I never open my sunroof as much when I hear people having problems with that too in the past.

Basically, I try not to overuse something that could break.

I hadn't dealt with this issue before, but a buddy of mine removed his cruise control system on his 6th Gen Accord. But in this eBay listing, it shows what the module should look like. Also, I forgot to mention, is to check the fuse for the cruise control.
