Hey all, I've looked for days for the answer to this and every manual and description says something different. I would like to install seat heaters in my 2011 Rogue but the passenger side has the standard occupant classification system which a sensor mat that is in that seat.

My question is if anyone knows how to work around that mat or should I forgo installing a seat heater there all together? Would it do any damage?

Thanks for any advice!!

just be mind full of the sensor, and you'll be alright. i dont think the sensor is right under the cloth/leather.

One last question: which electrical connection should I plug the seat heater harness into?

so then why do you feel there is a harness to hook into?

you will have to run power to the aftermarket units, fuses, switches, etc.

This is the one I'm purchasing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Seat-Heater ... fresh=true

I'm guessing that it simply plugs into the fuse box, correct? Thanks again, I'm a newbie at this.

WOW! that listing is crazy. lololol they plugged a seat heater wire into the fuse box!?? idk, i wouldnt risk that.

there is a reason they supply a 4/5-pin relay in that kit. heat is the hardest energy to make. so in my opinion it would require you to drag in a wire from the battery, through the firewall, and right to the (positive +) pin on that relay.
