2011 Rogue replace Fog Light

so one of the fog lights went out on my wifes 2011 rogue. I found the thread that had how to change it for 2009-2013 and even saw a video. The unfortunate part is that somewhere after 2009 they changed how to access that area behind the fog light. It looks like now you have to remove a bolt, a clip, and a star pattern screw. Why in gods name did they have to use 3 different fasteners?

is it really that big of a deal? its gonna be a phillips head, push-in clip, or a bolt or two. just remove a few of whatever is holding back the splash guard, and stick your hand inside.

it's not a big deal, its just odd they would do something stupid like that, not to mention any guide that says 2009-2013 are the same for that is wrong and make no mention of the difference. the underneath splash shield doesn't even look the same as whatever one they reference in the video, shown here http://www.carcarekiosk.com/video/2008_ ... ts/foglamp
