2011 Rogue rattle from rear (possible) suspension area

I got a 2011 Rogue in June, ever since I got it there has been a rattle coming from the rear of the car. I can only hear it if my window is down and it only happens when I go over a bump. Took it to the dealership and the D.A. tech said it was the jack so he tightened and he couldnt hear it anymore. But I KNOW its not the jack, it sounds more like a couple of nickels rattling around in a glass jar than metal to metal. Anyone have this same issue or know what the heck it could be?

I know this sound all to well with my 08 Rogue, I initially secured my jack too and I do believe it was making a noise. But, the metallic rattle noise that I hear when going over bumps was traced to the flimsy exhaust heat shield - it was bent (and others have reported loose connections), just straighten it out and/or tighten it up and the noise disappeared.

I was happy for a year or two but this summer I've got the noise again and can't seem to see any issue with my heat shields, so I'm a little baffled but have learned not to worry about superficial noises because they can drive you nuts if you let them.

I'd recommend checking the items I've mentioned, and let us know if this eliminates the noise....good luck!

I had a couple of these types of noises with our 2008 Rogue, turned out to be loose heat shields in the drivetrain area that were looked after under warranty with no problem

I've noticed that before when I Dropped my car in N on accident and tried to peal out from a car.
The Rogue sounds raspy when 5.5k RPM lol.

I wanna add that Nissan said the same thing about our Murano but BullS@#$ it wasn't the jack. It was def a bad Shock or LCA bushing.
I'm starting to have problems with our local dealer. F#$%, I'm Starting to hate every dealership its all a LIE!
