2011 rogue awd fuel problem

Hey guys my car was reading the fuel level improperly so I changed the fuel pump. I got the new fuel pump in and the car is running fine but the fuel gauge is reading 0. Also it is throwing a code p0436 any ideas ?

Did you use an after market fuel pump? That code is for the sender unit.

From what I was told there are 2 sender units in the Rogue.

I am guessing you are driving the car until it is just about bone dry with fuel. You don't want to do that as the gas lubricates the fuel pump and messes with the sender unit. Try to fill up when it at 1/4 tank.
