I have just found the next information regarding wheel alignment on this particular model:

http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Rogue/2011/FSU.pdf

Front Suspension - Wheel Alignment Inspection only

CAUTION:
• Camber, caster, kingpin inclination angles cannot be adjusted.
• If camber, caster, or kingpin inclination angle is outside the standard, check front suspension parts
for wear and damage. Replace suspect parts if a malfunction is detected.
• Kingpin inclination angle is reference value, no inspection is required.

Rear Suspension - Wheel Alignment Inspection and Adjustment

Does it mean that a four-wheel thrust alignment consists basically of FSU - Inspection and RSU - Inspection/Adjustment and nothing can be done with the front suspension (besides replacing some suspension parts) if it is out of specs?

I am a bit surprised.

I'm surprised there's no camber adjustment. I wasn't aware of this until just now. I guess they figure metal fatigue on the vehicle frame can't happen because Nissans are just so super duper awesome. Caster isn't all that important for treadwear, which is the primary reason it's important to have all the wheels in proper alignment. Unless there are significant variances in caster from one wheel to another (which will cause pulling in one direction and can create some weird effects, particularly when driving in windy conditions), it doesn't really matter if it's slightly out of spec, so I'm not surprised there's no adjustment for it. Camber, on the other hand, can get knocked out of spec for a whole plethora of reasons, only some of which can be addressed by replacing worn out or damaged suspension and steering parts. Shame on Nissan. That's why there are alignment specialists who know how to install shims. You make your own adjustment if you need it. But if you don't know what you're doing, don't try it at home.

How about this one:
"..ALIGNMENT PROCESS
IMPORTANT:
Use only the alignment specifications listed in this Service Manual.
• When displaying the alignment settings, many alignment machines use “indicators”: (Green/red, plus or
minus, Go/No Go). Do not use these indicators.
- The alignment specifications programmed into your machine that operate these indicators may not be correct.
- This may result in an ERROR.
• Some newer alignment machines are equipped with an “optional Rolling Compensation” method to “compensate”
the sensors (alignment targets or head units). Do not use this “Rolling Compensation” method.
- Use the “Jacking Compensation Method”. After installing the alignment targets or head units, raise the vehicle
and rotate the wheels 1/2 turn both ways.
- See Instructions in the alignment machine you're using for more information on this...."

Do I have to inform alignment specialists about these requirements? :gotme

Wow!

I can imagine what they would say me in response!

I take my Nissan to a Toyota dealer if I need an alignment. Not joking. I have a printed invoice to prove it.
