My AC went out on my 2011 Rogue. I replaced the compressor. I did add 3oz of oil to the compressor when I changed it. I sucked down the vacuum and leaked checked it. I added one can of R134 and the compressor was working and cooling the car off. the label on the car said there should be 1.1 pounds of R134 so I started adding a second can since they are 12oz cans. the compressor started squealing after running 5 minutes. The pressure on the gauge never got up to 40 psi. It was around 20psi. I tried the AC again today and the same thing happened after running 5 minutes it started squealing. I replaced the belt and tensioner with no help. Does anybody have any ideas?

:welcome: to NICO!

Are you seeing low and high side pressures, or are you charging with one of the adaptors that shows low-side only pressures. What led you to declare the old compressors dead?

That sounds like maybe the new compressor is defective and locking up after it gets warm.
