2011 Nissan Pathfinder - LiftGate Issue

Hello,

I am a new member to this forum and I searched already for my issue but did not find anyone else experiencing the same issue as mine described below.

2011 Nissan Pathfinder

My liftgate is randomly unlocking itself while driving.

It seems like, I will stop at a traffic light and then when pressing on the gas pedal to accelerate, I will hear the liftgate unlock.

At this point, the liftgate open message will come up on the center screen display.

Continuing driving, I will hear the liftgate lock... lock and unlock randomly for approx. 3-6 seconds.

When I pull over off the road, stop and open the liftgate and close it hard... the issue seems to go away until I come to a stop again at a stop light or stop sign.

I replaced the following part, but no luck.

Part Number: ​​90502-CY00A
Part Name: Lock Assembly

What would be causing my above scenario?

well I am thinking since you replaced the rear door lock actuator and that didn't solve the problem, then it might be a bad bcm (body control module) that is causing the issue, I don't know where it is located but if you follow the wiring harness that plugs into the rear door lock actuator it should lead to the BCM. Just guessing here though.
