Hello everyone.

I'm a part of the Nissan Altima Facebook group and I was told that my car pics were going around some forum. I wasn't sure which so I thought I'd just post them here and see who found them and hopefully give new ideas for people modding their Altis.

This is my EvilAlty.

Nice ride. I just registered in this forum looking for ideas myself. I own 2010 SR and face some hard times finding parts that I want. Also, I am not very knowledgeable about cars but I try to read more and look up stuff.

There is a section around here that shows you all the mods possible for our cars. Look at it and see what you want done. Look at my mods list as well. Parts are a bit hard to find for this car but they're there.

Yes, I saw your mods. I got some nice ideas myself. My goals are not to make it a race car, so that said I am not going to spend too much on it. However, I was looking for a Cats and no luck. I called Flowmaster, Magnaflow, Nismo and Stillen. Guess I have to find a part for another model that would fit. My next thing would be underdrive pulley... but my fuel pump messed up two days ago and now my money have to go there... But, yeah, I will be looking around. Although, I see this forum is not very active

Stillen and Borla make exhausts for our cars. MagnaFlow does too I think. I custom made mine. Find a shop and do that.

Yes, they do. I already have Flowmasters 40 Series on the back and got the sound I was looking for. I will be discussing my inquiries with my mechanic. Since you say your exhaust is custom... Can you give me any info about your Cats and the resonator (if you have any). I removed my resonator at first, but the in cabin noise and vibrations were too much and definitely not my style. What you got?

EvilAlti - Did have any CVT troubles when you HPDE your SR? I had my '11 SR on track over the weekend, and the CVT would overheat in about 3 laps. Would start to limit RPM's and if I pushed it too hard would dial back to 2000 rpm and lock the CVT in top ratio.

To TitoValchev, my info is in the video I have up on YouTube. Racingline Y-Pipe and Magnaflow 3" resonator with 3" pipe to dual 2.25" with dual Borla Boomer Thumper mufflers.

SCSCC no problems for me. It overheated first time but then I installed an oil cooler and a CVT cooler and changed fluids to Amsoil. I still over heat after a session but I have to push it very very hard. After it over heats it locks to 3000 RPM so I just get out of the track and let it cool off. It'll run just fine afterwards. I will be removing my foglight to direct more air and issue should be resolved then.

EvilAlti- Do have the details on the parts used to add the Oil and CVT coolers? How long of session did you run until it overheated?

I run 20 minute sessions. I run really hard though, even the cooler can't keep up. To give you an idea, a Miata can't get out of my sight. Here are my videos: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC64IlL ... V8Ob9rCH1A
