Rumor mill pic recently released. Rumor states it will be released late in 2010 as a 2011 model and will be a soft-top convertible instead of a hardtop.

Only time will tell.

Too big for a hardtop. And I'd say unlikely to happen. Not likely to be profitable, and Nissan lacks the cash for toys at the moment.

I agree, how many could they possibly sell? I don't see it happening.

Sawsall, camping-style clamps and some rubber could make a removable hardtop for cheap

Don't forget the duct tape! See, we can be resourceful!

Duct tape is awesome. Currently using it to:

1. Seal a gap on one side of my front door (painters last summer painted the weather stripping so it no longer springs out against the door, and too cold for a real fix--new weather stripping won't stick).

2. Hold the front fascia together on my wife's car. Apparently if the front fascia scrapes a snowdrift with temps around -10, it cracks. In four places.

Does anybody else see a PT Cruiser resemblance?? Use the development money for something, anything else. Please!

That's exactly what I thought when I first saw it. Except the PT was a two-door as a convertible.
