I have done some searching and had trouble finding much on the topic....

Are there any differences in fitments for parts such as exhaust, intake, y-pipe, taillights and grille for the 2011 3.5SR coupe? If so what years have they been the same from?

I would also love to hear suggestions or thoughts on these items:

Nismo Cat-back exhaust

Racingline y-pipe

Short ram intake (I have had injen products in the past but im open to any and all suggestions)

C-mod grille

As i said before, I would love you comments/concerns on fitments and performance as most of the parts i have found say they are only good up to 2010 so far.

Thanks in advance and my apologies if this was answered already, but I must have been searching in the wrong place if so.....

Everything except the C-Mod will be direct bolt on. The 2010 c-mod is different then the 2008 c-mod, but the 2010 version should fit.

Y-pipe is a MUST, and mated to the nismo sounds amazing. Intakes are all going to give pretty much the exact power gains so It's up to you which one you like the look of better. I went with the AEM because it looked so good.

Here is my set-up...Y-pipe, Nismo catback, and the AEM intake.

Thanks so much for the quick response.

Your setup looks to be identical to what im looking for.

Just to clarify when you say the y-pipe is a must...is that just because you love the combo souch or because it is actually necessary in order to have proper fitments?

Also, i have read many reviews and they all say its not droney sounding woyh this setup.....can you vouch or this? Ive just been down that road before and want to make sure.

Finally, if you have any recomended sites for purchasing all of the palrts listed it would be much appreciated. Just lOoking for best prices and service.

Thanks again.

You don't need the y-pipe for the exhaust to fit. It just provides a great performance increase for the price.

As far as droning goes it really just depends on your driving style. Cruising around town at 35-45 mph It sounds stock to me, no drone what so ever. Pretty much anything under 3k revs is pretty quiet (respectively). Highway driving you will have a little more noise, but thats expected from pretty much any aftermarket exhaust. It's not going to sound like an annoying civic with a fart can.

Regardless, the sound that it does make is beautiful. :-)

if you're looking for the Nismo cat-back try dooing some googling and see if there is anyone selling other than the stealership b/c they charge like near 1g just for the exhaust, not counting labor. If Lee's Auto-parts sells the 2010 Exhaust then that is probably a good place to look.

As for the Y-Pipe, go with racinglineperformance.com, they are a NICO sponsor and have a lotta nice goodies for the A/C. (for the record im assuming he says its a must because it sounds so sexy, not b/c it is necessary to achieve proper fitment, b/c the nismo exhaust would be a direct factory rep. for the OEM exhaust so the Y-Pipe is not necessary from that stand point.

As for an intake, its all about how much you want to spend, but check reviews online as for everything youd want to buy to see other's results. I'd recommend AEM since they make it for the 3.5 only, or K&N, and maybe third would be Injen.

Lastly, for CMOD, I think that it would look good but its all up to you when it comes to aasthetic mods, b/c you need to be happy with your car more than trying to make other people happy.

Hope this helps...
