Can the actual pressure switch leak? I used Teflon Tape and a fresh O-ring afterwards and it still leaked. There's nothing above that point that can leak so it has me baffled. See Diagram: https://www.nissanpartsdeal.com/diagram ... 7_A002.png

Thanks

Could the leak be running along the hose line and be coming from above, like the fluid reservoir maybe? I don't know which number equals the sensor in your posted diagram.

Have changed the belts lately?

A lot of Maxima owners don't agree with the p/s hoses needing to be removed from the pump before loosening the pump to put on the belt.

If you don't it puts a strain on the hoses could cause leakage.
Putting a strain on any crimped hose could cause it to leak.
I can vouch to this. It's happened to me.

The switch should have an o-ring. It's high pressure so I doubt Teflon tape will hold it off.
The 01 is over 1200 psi of pressure!
