2011 maxima making noise

Hello

First of all hello.. New on this site and can't believe I didn't find it sooner, I've pretty much been a part of every forum for all the different vehicles I owned. S it's nice to finally join this one

Second, I have a 2011 maxima with roughly 30k miles with no mods (leased it new last year). Just the other night I started hearing a strange fairly loud humming sound. It almost sounds like it's idling high but it isnt (or at least doesn't seem that way).
This seems to be happening once I hit 25-30mph and then stays that way. I hear the engine over it when I accelerate and seems to be its own independent sound (it doesn't get louder or lower as I increase or decrease speed it's just a steady humming noise (unless I drop to 5-10mph and the sound just dies out.
I can also sort of feel it on the floor, when I touch (not press) my gas pedal I can feel it ever so slightly vibrating from within (like when you dowshift and your rpm's are high)

Any ideas before I bring it in to service?

just finished replacing the alternator on my 98. Used a automobile stethoscope
and diagonosed noise was coming from the alternator wiring harness
The stehoscope is about 5-10 bucks. I would try listening first to find the source-

Problem is im not hearing it when the car is idling. Seems like it only starts one im in "what seems to be" second gear and higher (dont know how this works with cvt)

I am having the exact same problem. Did you ever resolve this issue?
