I ended up cleaning the air intake valves and it cleared it right up. My car is also a 2011 M56x and when I cleaned the valves at 76k miles, they were very dirty with carbon build up.

At first when I was having this problem,I was going down the path of looking at the MAP sensor. I thought what the heck, give the cleaning a try, and it seems to have solved my issue.

That was my car after using two different chemical cleaners in the previous few months. They did a little on the rear 4 ports but gummed up the valves. 92K miles. I don't have access to a media blaster, but I may give it a go with the carb cleaner and the toothbrush.
