those look nice but keep in mind the concaveness will not be as nice like some other cars since you won't run a staggered fitment. To me the price of vossen is kinda heigh for the weight of their rims. You might as well get some Works :) for a little bit more.

a drop is a must with concave wheels, car is too high.

you guys must have some nice roads to be driving around with rubber-bands.

The dealership I got the car from has put the 56s aftermarket lowering springs on the 37x and 56x without any problems. He says if I do it through the dealership, he'll warranty it. I was thinking just to put the sport model springs, since the x is slightly higher than both models. I think the aftermarket lowering kit for the 56s might be way too low. Also since I'll be running 9" front and back, the concave won't really be there.

The streets north of Toronto are pretty good. I don't remember the last time I came up on a hard pothole during the summer season. I have never done any modification to one of my cars so I'm not really sure what to expect. I know that 22" isn't the most practical idea around any big city, I just think that the 20" doesn't look aggressive enough unless the car is completely slammed. I may just have to leave myself an allowance of $600 for each replacement rim.

Do you think that the stainless steel is as likely to bend as the alloy?
What size of a bump/hole will damage the rim? Does it need to be a serious pothole? I feel a good thump sometimes in the city when I drive over the sunk sewers. Will that do it?

good 2/3 piece rims or forged wheels will be more durable to cast wheels for pot holes but are not prone to damages. If you hit one hard enough or at the right angle any rim will bend but you dont need to buy a new rim if it happens just take it to a good wheel repair shop and they can "straighten" it for you. I memorize the roads and watch the car in front of me for whats to come. If you know where the roads are bad or can see a sunk sewer avoid driving on it.

Now that I figured out the wheel I want and size (22"), the dealer is certain that staggering wont make a difference. He wants to put 9 in front and 10.5 on the rear. The concave looks so good. The spinning diameter supposedly has a difference of 1 revolution per mile, which is extremely minimal. However, I would assume the radius changes at different speeds.
Has anyone done a staggered fitment on a model without affecting the ATTESA system? Will it cause instant noticable issues or it only a wear and tear issue? If so, the dealer is on the hook for the warranty and not me. I don't keep cars past warranty anyways.
And I know that it has no performance benefit; this is solely an aesthetic thing for me.

mexillis, sorry buddy, I haven't posted enough to respond to your message but the wheels finally came in this last Thursday which is my day off but I had a full day planned with the wife and kids, so I wasn't able to get everything mounted. Plus haven't told the wife that I actually placed the order two months go, almost. I've boughten enough wheels and tires for her to know that if I'm at the stage of asking her opinion about wheels, well she just knows what time it is. Came into work today and my wheel guy sent his assistant manager down to pick up the tpms sensors from our parts department. I probably won't be able to run up north to have everything mounted until this next Wednesday. I'm itching with excitement and don't know if I can wait til then but might have to. Especially since my wheel guy sent me pics of MY wheels... I thought "I" was the salesman. I'll post pics once they're mounted.

How do you post a picture? Do you have to pull it from a URL?

^ you should make your own thread and put some good shots in it of the rear and with different angles. That has to look amazing with a 305 on. Also there's an oficial wheel and tire thread you could post your rim specs in for other members to have a guidline as to what fits. Car looks great by the way.

It looks great, I from the looks of it, you did not lower it at all.

Has anyone with the 2011 M37, thought about remote start?

Do you guys know what the widest rim I can fit on the front is? I don't want to go staggered becasue of the AWD, but I may go 22 x 10.5 front and back if that is possible. Then both wheels will have the concave. See the comparison between the look of the 9" and 10.5"

Staggered wheels work just fine on the X models you just have to make sure the rollout of the tires is real dam close, meaning basically the overall diameter of the tires needs to be withing i would say 1 inch to be safe, There is a little room for deviation due to uneven wear of tire even with stock tires. the width of the front and rear wheels have nothing to do with it. Now you wont be able to rotate them ever but who cares staggered on M's look sick. You need to run 245/30/22 and 295/25/22 or 255/30/22 and 305/25/22 and you will be just fine
