Good day my fellow Infinti enthusiast. I'm looking for some advice about a problem. I visited the dealership today for a wheel alignment. They also conducted a multi-point inspection and noted that my "rear transmission seal was seeping". Has anyone ever had and solved this problem before?

If its just the seal at the yoke, those are pretty easy to replace... just pull the driveshaft, pull that seal out, and tap a new one in.
I've never done it on an M37x though. I'll move this thread to the M37 section so you'll get some better responses.

I haven't had a chance to lift the car and take a look for myself. I'm going to dive in in a few days. Thank you for the link and the thread update.

If it's black tacky stuff it's some sort of assembly lube that they use from the factory. Just clean it off, it's not actually leaking trans fluid.
