2011 M37 Passenger Air/Vent Issues

Folks, I have a few issues with my M37:
1. Passenger side wasn't blowing hot/cold air at all. Took to shop, they messed with it and now it works. Motor might be going bad or bad contact is my thought. Insights?
2. Passenger side will blow cold air but WILL NOT blow hot air. When you turn temp up, driver sides blows and the passenger side makes a sound like the vent is shut-sound comes from within the dash tho. Thoughts on what this could be?

Welcome to the forum.

Definitely sounds like you have a blower door that's stuck somewhere and only directing said air (hot or cold) to one side. Unfortunately, don't quote me on this, but it sounds like you'll need to take apart the dash or at least the lower part of it to check this.

Definitely sounds like a blend door, or Mode Door as I think Infiniti calls it. And yup, its behind the dash.

Someone on here had a photo of their dash removed, it may have been EmersonHart13 who I am sure has moved on from his lemon M37 by now, but I can't find the photo. Its likely lost to Photobuckets policy change.
