Yeah Google found that for me too real fast. I will try to get a copy of it tomorrow so I can see the details.Mjkkb2 wrote:There is as service bulletin for loud compressor. ITB13021.
It applies to both 37 and 56.
When I got my M56 I noticed it had a loud compressor, when it first started getting over 100°F here, I noticed it seemed to take too long to cool down and would not cool at idle. I ended up recovering the refrigerant in the system and it was less than 1/2 charged. I vacuumed it for about 10 minutes to make sure I had all the refrigerant out of it. I added 2 oz of compressor oil. Then charged to capacity. Compressor noise was instantly about 1/3 of what it had been. A/C is ICE cold, even at idle. MUCH colder than the 2016 Q50 I was driving as a loaner. My 2012 and 2014 Titans were both undercharged after having them less than 6 months. Makes me wonder if they ship them out of the factory undercharged because 90% of the people in the US won't experience high heat or humidity and their systems work acceptably.Dmix wrote:I have the same problem. Hmmmm I don't know how to do that myself but I will get the dealer to recharge it. Thank you.DFW2011M56S wrote:When I got my M56 I noticed it had a loud compressor, when it first started getting over 100°F here, I noticed it seemed to take too long to cool down and would not cool at idle. I work at a Nissan dealer in the parts dept and started life on the service side as a tech. It takes a refridgerant recovery machine to do this(~$4,500). I have the tool access and knowledge to just do it myself. It is actually the first step of the A/C compressor noise TSB as well.Dmix wrote:Hmmmm I don't know how to do that myself but I will get the dealer to recharge it. Thank you.DFW2011M56S wrote:
