Just took delivery of a 2011 G37X. Hard to describe but when braking I feel what seems like road roughness through the brake pedal. Not pulsating or steering wheel shimmying. It seems more noticeable when braking lightly. Is this just break-in for the pads and rotors?

Welcome to NICO!

Not sure...I haven't heard or felt what you're describing. If it doesn't go away in a few hundred miles, I'd test drive another G at the dealer and see if it's the same. If it isn't, I'd have service take a look.

Braking should be smooth. Take the car out a few times and hard-brake it from 40mph. See if that clears it up. Else, take it to the dealer and tell them to fix it.

That's seems to have largely corrected the problem but the braking does not seem to be completely smooth, especially when coming to a final stop. Can i expect this to improve with use? I only have about 250 miles on the car.

It should brake smoothly. Drop it off at the dealership and they will take care of it.
