2011 G37 illuminated kick plates not working

I bought a new 2011 G37 sedan about 10 days ago. I just realized this morning that my illuminated kick plates are not working. Upon reflection, I'm not sure that they have ever worked since I bought the car (give me a break--I've been extremely busy at work and haven't really had the time to toy around with the car). I bought the car with 100 miles on it, and I have a hard time thinking that this is simply a blown fuse (a blown fuse within the first 100 miles?!?).

Any thoughts?

A fuse is possible, even on a new car. Although I do doubt that. I say check the fuses just in case and if not, get it back to the dealer and have it checked out!
