Hi all

I know there is an issue with door actuator sticking and not unlocking due to water/moisture getting in and getting frozen becoming ice. Once the the actuator area warms up a bit the issue resolved.

I'm wondering what can someone do to avoid this from happening, silicone grease in door lock areas? WD40? anything else that you all suggest?

Thank you

Some WD or PB in the lock assembly will usually help, but you need to pop the door panel and hit the whole assembly, including the cables. Don't use silicone, it won't chase water as effectively as penetrating oil and it can also compromise the insulation of the actuator motor windings.

Sounds good, will open up panels and lube everything. Thanks again
