This for my sons 95 240 SX. He is paying as he goes for this. Hard to put money away for your car working at the Golden Arches for $8 an hour part time and going to school. I'm just the old fart trying to keep him contained from having a daily driver that isn't a daily driver.
S15 black top all stock
6 speed transmission
Open 3 inch exhaust through a straight through magnaglow muffler (no cat)
Sentra SE-R 17 wheels
He took it to the track the first week he had and went 14.1 at 103mph with a 2.6 60 foot. No traction with the open diff. MPH makes is about 245 horse power to the wheels. Once he gets the nistune in and tuned he's back to the track to see the difference. Maybe creep up on a 12 second pass. NISTUNE did not have an exact board for the S15's computer. The computer code they go by is a 91F08. They have a board for the 91F07 and said that will work. First tune they are setting is going to be an upgrade of 10-15% over stock.
He hangs out at the Sonic in Orlando on Wednesday nights. Stop and say hi if your there. I'm there most of the time also but driving one of the other projects...my 58 Beetle or the other sons 93 300 ZX or the wifes Altima 3.5 or the 98 2DR Tahoe.
Any comments, dis's, suggestions, experiences are welcome.
