Just leased a 2011 Rogue SV with SL package and I am having trouble with the phone book feature of Bluetooth. I have a Palm Pre phone and it is not fully compatible with the 2011. I can send and recieve calls but I can not transfer my contacts. I can not figure out how to manually enter and store phone numbers into the bluetooth phonebook. I had a 2008 Rogue and I was easily able to do this. I have contacted Nissan customer service but have not heard back from them yet. Has anyone else had trouble with this?

Well, I did a phone compatibility search on Nissan's site, and here's what I found for the Palm Pre:

It seems that you won't be able to get your phone book onto the Rogue, unless someone's figured out a way to get around it.

At this point, I would be happy to just be able to store a few phone numbers that I use frequently. With the 2008 Rogue, I could just say "Phonebook, setup, new entry" and I was all set. I can't find a way to do that with the new Rogue.

I just got a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5 and my 2013 Rogue does not identify the phonebook. Nissan's website does not list it as a supported phone.

Does anyone have any suggestions other than getting a new phone or a new car?

I tried to get the phonebook working a few times with no luck. At a previously scheduled service visit this morning I asked a tech to look at it. I turned it on to show him it was not working and, of course, it started working perfectly. It is now fine. I told him the phone was not listed as supported and he said that the car's Bluetooth should recognize all phones.

Sir, did you ever get an answer to your Bluetooth problem, I ask because I just recently purchased a good low mileage 2011 Rogue and I am having the exact same issues with the Bluetooth. I also have trouble with the voice recognition. I am totally frustrated with this thing, like you I can not get the phonebook up. Thank you for any info you can provide.

I have a recently purchased 2011 Rogue SV (SL pkg) I can not seem to be able to get the Bluetooth to do the phonebook setup. I have a Samsuang Galaxy S5. Also, I am having trouble with the voice recognition with this unit. Is this an inherent problem with the 2011 model or is there something in the procedure that I am missing. Or do I need and update or something or do I just need to take to the dealership. I owned a Versa and several other vehicles over the years and have never had so much trouble or frustration setting up the phonebook for hands free phone use. Thank you for any help or info provided.

dvkiel, please don't start a new thread when you've already asked the same question in an open thread. Threads merged.

Did you check your phone's compatibility? There's a link in the 2nd post from the top. I had a 2011 SL and the Bluetooth voice recognition was very flaky. It was somewhat better in my 2012 SL, but still left a lot to be desired.
