I have been trying to fix this for a while now and I am stuck...

I have a 2011 Nissan Altima that will not start. Dash comes on, keyless works (push button start). When I press the on a key is nearby the car turns the dash lights on. If I hit it again they turn off. If I turn the dash on, hot the break pedal then the on button, the dash flashes and nothing happens.

I have checked and replaced both brake switches with no luck. Brake lights work. I checked for corroded terminals and fuses with no luck. No codes are stored.

Should all fuses be getting 12v+ when the on button is pushed?

What else can I check?

It should be going Acc-On-Off when the brake isn't pressed, just on-off with the brake pressed. Is that what's happening? If so, it's normal but the starter isn't spinning. See PCS-23 for your IPDM layout...

...and put a test lamp on terminal 80 (Red). If the lamp lights then chances are your starter is shot, if it doesn't then the problem is upstream (maybe a bad relay in the IPDM).

Correct, ACC-On-Off and it behaves differently when the brake is pressed (wont turn off, dash flashes), but the car does not attempt to start.

Will 80 only be hot when the start button is pressed? or on acc/on?

Pin 80 is the output to the starter solenoid. It should go hot for 5 seconds or so when the button is pressed with the brake held. The BCM imposes a time limit on the length of cranking if the engine fails to start.

OK, tried the troubleshooting above and discovered it is the neutral safety switch. The car will start in neutral, but not park.

My question now is, being that this is a CVT transmission, is the neutral safety switch anything different or special to replace? I found the part for most 2011 Nissan Altimas, but doing research and now I am not sure that it is right for the CVT

On a CVT the P/N function is built into the transmission Range Switch, which sits on top of the transmission. The p/n for your '11 should be 31918-1XG0A or -1XG0B, either one will work. You might try tweaking the cable position before replacing the switch, the cable is adjustable at the transmission end.
