My versa has run flawlessly for 3 years with 102K miles now. Filled up with gas last night drove home. This morning it started fine but will not idle or drive. Like its run out of gas. Fuel pumP/ Filter? or bad gas?

Probably not fuel filter, it's "good for the life of the vehicle"...so they say :chuckle:
Perhaps fuel pressure regulator, but when mine went, it had trouble starting, not trouble running.
So I'm guessing an ignition coil pack. They're not typically failure prone, but that's my guess.
If the Versa is throwing a Check Engine code, take it somewhere that reads it for free.
edit Shouldn't be spark plugs, they last quite a long time

This seems to be more of a fuel delivery issue. How could the ingintion coil pack be affected? When I turn the key it starts just fine and idles for about 5 seconds and then dies. I can start it again but then dies. Does not respond to accelerator to try and rev the engine. Wish I could take it somewhere, unfortunately live 30 minutes from nearest civilization... thus the need for great gas mileage car... now I'm stuck in the boonies. :=)

i just remembered, after i had my plugs changed, i had this problem.
Took it back to mechanic, was a connection that wasn't quite reconnected.
Never did find out what it was, he just took a minute to check all connections and poof, got it.
So check MAF sensor, coils etc, anything along those lines.
