Hello everyone i just got a brand new 2010 versa 1.8s base manual 3 days ago and am noticing some things. First off the alignment was off a bit when i first got it i took it to service twice and said it drives straight. so i test drove it with them and now they see what im talking about and basically said their alignment machines aren't updated yet so once they do they will do an alignment. Which is fine. now the next day im noticing the clutch CLICKS on release. just like my trade did lol. what should i do ? make an appointment for service or is there an easy fix i can do..

thank you

I had my car pull to the right and the steering wheel was off. I took it to an independent alignment shop and they fixed me up.

I paid $90 for a 4 wheel alignment. Just open up the yellow pages and give a few places a call.

Did you have your rotors resurfaced or did you end up buying aftermarket? Some aftermarket stuff is so cheap and you may run into these type of issues.

No idea on the clutch clicking though I own a Auto with CVT.

You can take it to another dealer and or take it some place that does alignments have them print you a before and after results sheet and have Nissan pay for it if there was an issue and they did not want to fix it.

There is a range that the alignment can fall within and be considered good by factory standards. Mine is a touch off-center but it's within the factory range. If you want perfection, go to a shop that does alignments and PAY for perfection.

As for the clutch pedal clicking, where is it coming from? The pedal, the cable, etc.? That may help track down what is creating the sound.

Re: Clutch Clicking

Is it the Clutch pedal? IF it is, it could be cause by your Cruise Control switch if you got one.

I went down there with a flash light it look like its coming from the cylinder in the firewall. I dunno sounds like a pen clicking and I don't have cruise control so I dunno
