2010 Sentra Spark Plug Question

First time here on the forum, so bear with me. I have owned the vehicle for 6 years and it's got 47K on the odometer. Every now and again, the engine has a "miss". My husband, who's a mechanic, suspects my car is due to have spark plugs changed based on what he experienced when driving my car. I needed to know what spark plugs came standard from the factory on the base model engine with CVT. He said if it had platinum plugs, it realistically wouldn't need changing until 100K, so it could be deposits on the plugs causing the occasional "miss". Otherwise, if it's a different plug altogether, then he feels that changing the plugs will correct the issue. There are no codes that I know of and no warning lights show up on the dash. I will have my husband check if there are codes with his scan tool in case it's indicating another issue.

Otherwise, I haven't had issues with this car and is way more reliable than the two Chevy Cavaliers we owned. I am aware that some servicing will need to be done, which I will have my hubby take care of.
