2010 projectors?

so i am new to the nissan world and am currently loving every minute of it, i purchased my 2009 a/c 2.5 in February and have installed a stereo +sub and the lights in the cup-holders and ac vents (thanks to the how-to on this forum). but i do have several things i want to do, my biggest at the moment is fogs and projector head lights, i was wondering if i could buy the 2010 model headlights and stick them in my 2009... i know the front end was slightly redesigned but i didnt know if the headlight assembly was the same or not, anyone have any experience with this?

when nissan redesigned the front end, they also slightly modified the headlight assembly. the 2010 assembly won't fit on an 08-09
