2010 Pathfinder Brake Light Problem

First time poster here,

I have a 2012 Pathfinder LE. The lower 2 brake lights stopped working. When I flip the running lights on the tail lights still work, as do the turn signals and back-up lights. I did some research and saw it may be the brake light switch. However when I press the brake pedal the 3rd brake light still lights up, just not the lower 2. The bulbs arent burnt out as the tail lights still work. Very new to working on the car. Any advice would be most appreciated. Supposed to be taking this car on a trip this weekend and would prefer not to travel without functioning brake lights.

The bulbs have two filaments. One is the dimmer tail light, the other is the full-intensity brake light. This is the filament that broke in your bulbs. Change the bulbs and your brake lights should work.
