2010 Nissan Rogue.. Buzzing noise when accelerating

I've been an owner of a Nissan Rogue for the past 10 yrs (150'000 miles) and been lucky enough to not experience bad luck on my CVT transmission but I feel like my lucks about to run out. Recently been experiencing a buzzing noise when I accelerate. Timing is fine and car doesn't rattle or lose power just that weird buzzing and its only between 15 and 70 MPH. I've heard many thing about it. Bearings, loose screws, not changing transmission fluid (which I did awhile back). I've always been the only one to work on my Rogue and its been going great till now and because I feel that its an internal issue I might have to bring her in but before throwing down thousands of dollars I'd like to see if anyone has experience the same and what did you end up doing. Yes they have. Search the forum for CVT noise.

After you've driven your car and heated everything up, put the car in park and rev the engine and see if you hear the buzzing. If you do, It could be an exhaust heat shield that is loose and causing the buzz sound. Take it to a muffler shop to have them weld the shield(s) back in place. I've had to do that twice now on my 2008 SL AWD.
