2010 nissan murano rain sensor

i purchased a 2010 murano and windshield was replaced, but rain sensor not working, they changed it with same results.if on when car starts it will go on once and it will go on when shadow hits it at times, i am a little baffled the sensors are used. if i wave my hand in front of it the wipers will turn on.

Sorry for the confusion, are the sensors new or old. Is the windshield original or new?

The windshield was a replacement. They put in a used sensor. It works but not the way it should. Then they replaced it with a used sensor and the same problem

Do you bring it to the Nissan Dealer? You should be under warranty, right? Maybe it is the sensor. That is a tough one!

the auto is a salvage so they will not warranty it.Do I need a new sensor if it was unplugged and another was installed
