I ordered a Nissan Cube Sept 12/09 in good faith. I was told the car was already being manufactured for the BC, Canada market and should be here in a month. It is now one week shy of 3 months and I still am not driving this car. While I understand delays in manufacturing and shipping, what I am really angry and frustrated with is how Nissan Canada has handled this sale. My car is actually here in Vancouver, however, I can't buy it yet as Nissan Canada has not released the 2010 (I was not told my sale was contingent on this happening and my underdstanding is the only reason this car is not released is greed on the part of Nissan Canada and their desire to sell more 2009's before putting the 2010's on the lot). I have now waited an additional 3 weeks with the salesman at the dealership advising me it will be any day... Well this week, on Tuesday I was told I would have my car within 24 to 48 hrs as apparently there are 4 other people who are waiting to be "allowed" to purchase this car and the sales manager insisted Nissan Canada release our vehicles... I phoned and confirmed the "release" was "really happening" and it was yes it was a "for sure". Well, here I am Saturday 5 Dec 09 and the car is still not released. I'm told once again Nissan Canada won't release it. I guess Nissan Canada doesn't want more customers? I guess they haven't been affected by the economic downturn? I truley feel like I'm held hostage for the "privledge" of spending my money. I don't know if I will actually purchase the car from a company that could treat it's customers this way...
