Talked to several dealers, and no one was dropping the price lower than the VPP. Platinum Graphite is a tough color to find around here (Blue is even harder). Bought from a salesman who didn’t play any games, just emailed me the price and twisted arms to get the car from another dealership. Had it ready and waiting for me when I went to pick it up. I’m looking forward to getting a couple bike racks (Yakima / Raptor Aero’s) and enjoying car.

Really? Cool. There's always a worry the guy who buys the same car tomorrow gets a much better deal than me.

The only way I can play the game is to get a few dealers bidding against each other. When I get a dealer saying he won't beat a certain price, and he lets me walk away to buy at another shop, then I know I'm in the right ballpark.
