2010 murano le iphone cable issue

My wifes 2010 murano le comes with the 30 pin adapter in the center console for the iphone. Problem is she has the iphone 5s wich has the lightning 8 pin. I've tried the 30 pin to 8 pin adapters but they only charge her phone. She can't listen to music at all. I know you can connect it with the aux cables but she wants to control her music using the nav screen like she used too. Any suggestions or is their a cable i can buy from nissan?
