I know one guy that went to school with me had an aftermarket sun/moonroof, but the problem after a while, his headliner began to sag over time. He thought it was normal, but it wasn't so he brought it to the dealer.

Getting enough water on ANY sunroof would probably make it leak over time, just try to not get alot of water over the top. You probably want to wash it by hand and not take it through an auto carwash.

Honestly, I'm giving you the best answer I know since I don't have a sunroof to know what the outcome is.

If you bought it from Nissan there is a chance that it could come with some warranty on it that if it leaks or anything they will fix it..

I got my Versa w/ the sport package so it came with a sunroof (from the factory). Total cost for the sport package and tech package was an extra $2000 (CDN) from Nissan (which includes, fogs, sport bumpers/side skirts, bluetooth, stereo stuff, and moonroof).

I love my sunroof and use it all the time (winter or summer).

I had one issue with it leaking this past summer. I took it in and they readjusted the glass and it's been fine since. They did tell me to not go through auto car washes as the drain tubes would just fill up way too fast with the pressure from the water, and that it would leak inside. So if you get it, wash your car by hand (no auto washes). But other than that, it's great :D
