I recently have been smelling radiator fluid when I stop. there are no drips under the car or on the engine and the level in the radiator is high. it doesn't smell when the engine is cold. is this normal or rare? I have not taken it in to get checked yet, but is time for the 7500 mile check. This is my first Nissan in 15 years and my last one was a 1975 Datsun 280Z which had an odd but nice smell when pushed hard.

Welcome to nico! Your one of the lucky few on here that has what we call a warranty. ;) Nah thats not normal if you can smell the sweet honey like odor of raditor fluid sounds like you may have a small seap somewhere. Definitly mention it when you take it in for service. As long as your not running low and dont see smoke billowing everywhere you should be ok for now.

My 2007 did this since it was new. I never found a leak, nor did the dealer. I plan to add some fluorescent dye to the coolant, just to satisfy my curiosity. Over 50k miles, I have had to add maybe four ounces of coolant, which is a little more than normal evaporation loss, barely.
