2010 M45x Cruise Control Not Engaging

My 2010 M45X will initiate the sequence, but will not fully engage the cruise control. I've read about dirty front sensor in the grill, and the sensor behind the pedal. I've cleaned the front grill sensor, and the issue still persisted. I've looked under the brake pedal, but there seems to be 2 switches under there. Some say the brown one is the one to keep closed, others say the blue one. Anyone know which switch I need to adjust, and how? The mechanics are not similar to what I've found thus far.

TSB concerning cruise. Possible culprit? My dealer has been pretty good covering any issues throughout my Elite Extended Warranty, and I am hoping for coverage with this. TSBs aren't covered under warranty, but anyone have any experience with their dealer?

Infinti: cruise control will not set and dtc p0605 is stored. if a malfunction in the ascd system is detected, the cruise indicator may stay on and the set indicator may flash.
