Hello,
I have a 2010 G37S M6 that is in need of some Winter wheels.
I have a line on a set of G35S 18'' Wheels with snows already mounted.
The chap selling them says they will fit over the G37S M6 big brakes. Will they?
I also want to know if the offset will also work. Comments welcome.

Wondering if you ever got an answer on this post? I'm looking at the exact same issue. I just bought a 10' G37S 6MT with the big brakes and 19's. The snow season is 2 weeks away and I'm trying to find a 18" winter rim and tire package that will fit. The whole offset thing confuses me when I'm trying to make sure the rims I pick will clear the brake calipers.
- The only place that offers a rim to fit your car is Tire rack, but the selection the offer for this car is weak. The rims they recommend for winter are all 18x8 with an offset between 35-40mm. So I'm guessing thats the standard if looking at other rims.
- The selection of 18x8's they have is much better if you go with a 45mm offset. So I'm thinking I might be best off picking a rim I like in a 45mm offset then using a 5-10mm spacer to make if fit over the brake caliper.
--- Assuming I'm understanding the geometry of offsets correctly...?

- BTW the "expert" staff at both Tire Rack or Sears Auto are completely useless. If you ask for some inteligent guidence they will do nothing but read you the same info you can find on the limited website. They will neither confirm or deny the fitament of anything the sell.

I'm looking at these 3 options. Anyone know if they will fit?[- Motegi MR118. 18x8 w/45mm offset.
- Elbrus 106. 18x8 w/ 40mm offset.
- Bremmer BR05. 18x8 w/ 45mm offset.

Are you kidding? This place is dead, at least in the Canada section. :tisk: :wtf2:

Anyways, yes, I ended up purchasing a set of MSR wheels for $499 CAD a few weeks back and a set of Blizzack LM-25 tires with 1 season on them and 8-9/32 left. They are the HR rated so they are the Blizzacks which have a uniform tread compound good till the very end as opposed to good for the first .125" or so then useless.
Read here and look for my post.

I'm confused. Did you end up going with the wheels from a G35S or something aftermarket?
- It looks like the offsets on the G35S wheels are too extreme to fit our car... But it sounds like they worked out fine.

Are the specs really;
Front: 18x7.5 +45mm offset, 225/50/18
Rear: 18x8.5 +50mm offset, 245/45/18

Does anyone have any feedback on Bridgestone Blizzak tires? Or any alternative suggestions?

Thanks!
