Can you be more specific of what exactly you replaced or checked related to this issue?

If I understand correctly, this is a timing issue code? I think this is often oil pressure related. That would make sense with the stall I guess.

It seems to be a pretty difficult part to check, but it might be related to the oil galley cover/gasket.

checking this post on 350z-uk forums might help.

Good luck

Yes, I'm not sure what year they started to reinforce the cover. I think it might just be that all of the vq35 engines are old enough to have this issue and the vq37 engines are just starting to have them periodically fail.

I hope you find a fast reasonably priced fix.

Once it's fixed, if you have time, consider posting the answer to this thread so it helps others that might have this issue in the future.

Yeah, I kind of had a hunch that the problem was never really fixed by Nissan and all of the VQ37 were just still too new to have the issue show up.

It's certainly a huge pain in the butt, although I suppose it could be worse. I'm glad you at least found out what the problem was.

Have a good day,
Lars

update; after infiniti mechannic open engine he did not say it was the seal he said it was the engine had oil slush and that make the sprockets lock and that was the reason of my problem...
