Hey guys, I have a 2010 G37x coupe. I just got a Verizon Iphone and I'm having trouble hooking it up through the USB connection in the center console. I plug it in using a standard Ipod cable and nothing happens on the phone screen and on the Nav monitor in the USB mode it says " Check USB or Ipod" and thats it. I have had my friends ATT Iphone in the same car using the same cable and it worked perfectly. Any ideas? Thanks!

weirdness...not sure. Have you used the iPhone cable on a PC without problems?

Yea, it might be a software issue in my car, I;m going to have the dealer upgrade my software because i found a lot of people have this problem or other problems with ipods/iphones

1st you have to have music on your iphone (which im sure you have)
2nd try another ipod cable. The cables can be finiky sometimes. I have a iphone 3gs cable that there is nothing wrong physically but wont work in teh G but my cable that came with the iphone 4 works for both the 4 and 3gs.

Definitly check the cable. Maybe for an ipod and not iphone.
