So I picked up my 2010 G37X on Wednesday. Smokey Quartz, Black gut, Prem and nav. The Motorola cell phone that worked great in the 2007 G would not pair up. So off to Verizon and they said it must be the phone. As would be the case, I ordered a new Samsung. It arrived on Friday and it would not pair up either. I took the car to Infiniti and they said a lot of phones are not pairing up with the 2010 Bluetooth, especially the Droids. So now I try an old LG and it worked. I'm really surprised Infiniti's Bluetooth went backwards.

That's really strange, because I have a 2010 G37x and a Motorola Droid, and it works great. I know it has for others as well.

I'm really glad yours paired up, but you can imagine the frustration if you could not use your Bluetooth option.

my droid works perfect too... any android phone should work really... did your car receive the software update for the radio, nav, communications, and iphone compatibility? My droid worked before the update, but maybe the update will help you.

Yes, I brought it to the dealer on Saturday and they checked it. I'm not a real Crack-berry user, it's just that my state has very expensive fines for using a cell phone in-hand. I took out an old LG phone I had in a cupboard and it works just fine after activating it. Thanks for the suggestion.

The newest version of Android (2.2, a.k.a., Froyo) reportedly has much better bluetooth support. Any of the newer Droid phones (Incredible, X) and even the original Droid are getting Froyo. I have to pair the phone then switch the handset and back to the car when I make or receive a call in order to use bluetooth with my X and my G37x. If I don't do that the other person can't hear me. I am hoping that Froyo fixes the problem.

I have the Droid X and it works perfectly with the bluetooth in the 2010. Also had the original Moto Droid, Droid Incredible and all have worked great.

I guess Nissan finally got its act together on the 2010 models, which is a good thing. I wish they could somehow patch the older cars. The one-sided bluetooth issue (person in the car is muted) seems to be a fairly widespread problem with older model years.

Hello I am new here and apologize in advance if this has been addressed. I have a 2010 G37S convertible 6MT w nav and I was syncing the bluetooth when I came across this question. The car allows you to download the handset phone book to the car but I have no idea how to do it. I have a 3gs iphone and wonder is it possible? Thanks in advance for any help.
