2010 EX35 Slip light blinking.

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I was test driving an EX35 at a dealership this past weekend when i noticed something odd in the test drive. About 5 minutes into the test drive, i noticed i was loosing power when i would accelerate. I quickly look down into the cluster and saw the slip light would blink constantly as i would accelerate. The rpm's were fluctuating crazy as well. Kinda like the vdc was cutting power to the engine. Anyone know what this could've been? I also noticed very hard downshifts.

Traction control is working... It automatically applies brake to the tire that is losing grip thus, preventing you to accelerate quicker or if sliding.

If I want to do spirited driving I normally turn off VDC, specially of the line acceleration...

I know.... But this was normal acceleration. Like slowly creeping up from a dead stop.
