2010 Cali ECM Recall

Yep got the letter in the mail from Nissan the other day...

Says that it is for an "improperly calibrated Engine Control Module (ECM) that may incorrectly detect engine valve closure as engine knock." Also says that it is for State of California owners. I was curious to see if any other Cali coupes had got a letter as well and if anybody else knew anymore on the issue.

weird, I haven't gotten any notice yet.

i haven't gotten this, but about two months ago i was bombarded with letters telling me i have free this and free that and to bring my car in to see if there are any outstanding recalls. turns out that theyre recalling the brakes and i believe the exhaust manifold(???) on many altimas. i was told i was eligible for the manifold and to set an appointment but havent yet

There's an ITB for reprogramming of the ECM and TCM for cars - 2009 – 2011 G37 Sedan and Coupe (V36/CV36) or convertible.

Not sure. But you can just call your local service department and have them run your vin to see if your model and year qualifies

Taking my coupe in tomorrow morning to finally get the recall all cleared up. Hopefully everything goes well don't see why it wouldn't but its always scary to go to the stealership lol
